Our Legacy

Leaving Golden Marks

Since Decades

Three brothers – Bhima Bhat, Narayana Bhat, and Padmanab Bhat – strode into jewellery business in the year 1925. After several discussions Alleppey was chosen as the place of establishment for the business. The establishment was then aptly named – Bhima & Brother Jewellers.

It was only a few decades later, in 1959, that the business was branched out to Kottayam. Here, Narayana Bhat’s son N.Gopalakrishnan joined the business and gave it a contemporary route.

By 1989, Bhima & Brother brought their thriving business to the Historical City of Palaces – Mysore. Soon, they became the most trustworthy brand because of their stellar workmanship, steadfast commitment, and the most exquisite quality.

Trust

We Have Earned

One of the reasons that Bhima & Brother become one of the most trustworthy brands is their ability to ensure transparency. The first ones to use Karat Meter in Mysore, they would also ship gold all the way to Coimbatore just to test its purity in olden days, when there was not much technological advancement. In the year 2000 when Hallmarking was introduced in India, Bhima & Brother was the first to embrace in Mysore.

Perfect

Beauty Things

  • They impressed their patrons by introducing a fair buy back policy and have also introduced exchange at purchase price. Known for its innovation in design, N.Gopalakrishnan developed his own range of close-setting jewellery that was inspired by the K.G.F. style. The brand also specialises in Mysore style Nakash Jewellery. The brand was the first to open an exclusive silver jewellery and artefacts store, Trinkets, in Mysore.

  • Far and Wide

Given the popularity of Bhima & Brother, it comes as a little surprise that the fame has spread far and wide. With two new stores in Hyderabad & Mandya, the third-generation owners Raghuram G & Mukunda G, plan to take Bhima & Brother to Kollegal and other cities of Southern India.
